Times long ago
and places far away
Everybody dies.
No need for you to cry
For me when I am gone.
What matters is for you not to be withdrawn
When I am still alive.
That means, now, yes, now.
What do you have to say
When you and I still have time?
Don’t you want to pray
That we still have charm?
Don’t you think we need
To explore the feelings in store
We have for each other?
Is it really you talking and doing or is it your ego?
But I suppose you and your alter ego are both the same.
I guess I’m talking in circles about names.
Stop being indifferent.
I know we are both fearful of rejections.
But do we really deserve lack of attention?
So be kind, don’t be shy.
Be good, and above all be true
I don’t want to be in love with an illusion.
We have so little time left on this beautiful planet
Stop killing the incipient tender sensibilities
I have for you or you for me.
If we have for each other not love and affection
Then at least caring friendship, milk and sweet honey,
And all things that are funny and sunny.
If we decide we don’t like each other anymore,
Let’s walk away in silence,
Not in mutual thunderous denunciations.
We are how we communicate.
Really, in essence, in things that are delicate,
Neither of us is “better” than the other.
I need you and you need me.
Let’s put our arms around each other
And together walk the remainder of our journey.
Smile; laugh out loud joyously.
You are loved; you must think so.
Be gentle, patient, and kind.
Speak the truths; tell no lies.
Something’s happening:
A yearning for peace and love and understanding
I feel so and hope so do you

I would like to know more about the author’s biography and hope I can find it on Wikipedia. If not is there a way I can can talk to Mr. Wissai or write to him either in Vietnamese or in English. A picture maybe ? Thanks. JH
