CONGRATULATIONS TO MATHEMATICIAN RAN VAN VO
VIET THUC FOUNDATION PROUDLY RECOMMEND
Warren, Mich. Following up his first book “Fermat’s Last Theorem,” author and mathematician Ran Van Vo works through more equations in “Beal’s Conjecture” (published by AuthorHouse).
Billionaire banker Andrew Beal formulated the titular conjecture while studying Fermat’s last theorem, a conjecture that had stumped mathematicians for nearly 400 years. In 2013, Beal offered $1 million to anyone for a proof or counterexample to his conjecture. Vo decided to take a stab at Beal’s conjecture, and his book shows his work on the problem and how he came to solve it.
“My inspiration to write this book,” Vo says, “is my interest in the great challenges of pure mathematics.”
Vo asserts that his book will be useful to all students and professors of mathematics and that the techniques he utilized in this book can also be used to solve Diophantine equations.
Vo hopes that his book will open the world of mathematics to others while inspiring current mathematicians.
